Mum Market Bag
by Emily Bittel
This pattern is
available for free.
This is the first market bag I made that was inspired by a flower. The pattern begins by creating the flower at the bottom, working up to the mesh, and finishing with the strap. Petals (or leaves!) around the top edge of the mesh make the transition from the mesh to the strap.
This bag will stretch quite a bit when it is full. When it’s not filled and just laying on the table, it’s about 12” wide by 12” tall.
The gauge is not important for this pattern.
It took about 2 skeins of Peaches & Creme Solids (about 120 yards per skein)
