’Patsy and Lily’ Mummy and Baby Hedgehog Toys (DK) Knitting pattern!

I created Patsy and Lily one-of-a-kind Hedgehogs with lots of detail, including cute ears, pointy noses and dainty feet! Their eyes have been created using beads, but you can easily substitute the beads and embroider the eyes to make them safe if you are making the Hedgehogs for babies or small children.

Their gorgeous loopy coat is easy to make. This loopy effect makes the Hedgehogs look super cute! Patsy and Lily are sure to appeal to adults, teens, children and babies! Why not knit them up as a Gift! Any baby or even adult would love and adore them!

Patsy and Lily are shown in two shades of Brown and Black, although you can knit them up in any colour you like! The creative possibilities are endless with different colours of yarn!

Finished item sizes
Patsy Large Hedgehog: 9cm width, 17cm length and 9cm in height (including the loops).
Lily Small Hedgehog: 7cm width, 12cm length and 7cm in height (including the loops).

Equipment needed
(A) 1 x 100g/230m ball – King Cole Bamboo Cotton.
Shade 541 (Milk Chocolate).
(B) 1 x 100g/210m ball – Patons 100% Cotton. Shade 2720 (Rosewood).
(C) 1 x 50g/103m ball – Cygnet Silcaress DK. Shade 217 (Black).
2.75mm needles.
2.50mm needles.
2 x 4mm Black beads (or Black yarn).
2 x 6mm Black beads (or Black yarn).
Round end small tapestry needle.
Hollow fibre filling.

Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Make a loop, Pass stitch over, Yarn over.
