Murex is a highly textured sock, lacy but not overtly so and not delicate in appearance.

Don’t be fooled by the sixty stitch initial circumference, the stitch pattern is stretchy and increases the overall stitch count significantly.

The patterning looks complex but works fairly quickly and, since it is restrained to the front.

The gathered nature of the stitch pattern gives dimension to the fabric but it does compress comfortably in a shoe or boot, this is a very wearable design.
