Muriel is made using the wide half-double crochet stitch, which creates a solid and sturdy fabric for velvet yarn. This design is meant for super bulky velvet yarn. It is worked in rounds, creating a very thick and cozy oversized cowl-style scarf. Within the written instructions, you will find the pattern and finishing instructions, as well as a guide for alternate sizing options (oversized/standard/infinity). There are also instructions for making an exact custom size that you prefer. You will also find within this pattern download that I’ve included some tips and tricks for how I recommend working up your project as well as some troubleshooting.
