Murphy Bay
A fun, quick knit. Interesting to knit, cute to wear.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS –
Baby (Toddler, Child, Adult S, M, L)
To fit head size: 16 (17 ½, 19, 20 ½, 21 ½, 23) in – 40.5 (44.5, 48.5, 52, 54.5, 58.5) cm
MATERIALS
Malabrigo Yarn Rios – 10 ply, 100% Merino, 210 yards – 192 meters / 100 grams –
50 (80, 100, 120, 145, 170) yards – 45 (75, 90, 110, 130, 155) meters
US 6 / 4 mm circular or double pointed needles (DPNs)
US 7 / 4.5 mm circular and DPNs
GAUGE
17 stitches and 46 rows per 4 inch – 10 cm in pattern, unstretched, with US 7 / 4.5 mm needle. Gauge is measured across the purl section, at the widest point of the pattern. The row gauge is 46 rows per 4 in – 10 cm because the pattern creates a very scrunched up fabric - it is easy to adjust the length, if you’d like it to be less “scrunchy” when wearing it.
