“MURRISK” Scarf .This pattern was inspired by the fishermans nets stacked at Murrisk Pier , near the town of Westport, County Mayo, in the West of Ireland. The thick, strong nets are intricately woven and are made to survive all the elements. I created this design to reflect the beauty of the nets in a long, flowing, warm and comfortable scarf. It is light as a feather and will keep you snug and cozy as you stroll along the beach, hike through the mountains or saunter along the city streets. It is also deliciously soft and warm . The yarn used is a wonderful light, airy, warm and comfortable King Cole wool blend. The scarf is long enough to be wound around your neck at least twice, or can be worn long and loose.

Tension/ Gauge : 14 sts x 16 rows = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm in Garter stitch in 3 row repeating pattern using both size needles
