> Muru pullover
Muru pullover
Muru literally means a crumb in Finnish, but it is often used as a term of endearment the same way as darling or sweetie.
The Muru pullover is knitted seamlessly from the top down with a textural slipped stitch pattern. The stitch pattern is a lot easier to knit than it appears and easy to memorize, and despite using three colors, you only work with one color at a time.
The back and front are knitted flat down to the armholes. Then the pieces are joined and the body is knitted in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up from the neck edge and worked in the round. All techniques are explained in the pattern.
You can easily work the stitch pattern with only two colors. In that case, work MC in one color and CC1 and CC2 in another color.
