Mush Boots
This is a pattern I came up with inspired by my experiences living through many Canadian Winters. Even though I complain all winter and talk about moving somewhere where the sun shines all year round, I truly am a winter girl at heart. I love winter sports and can’t imagine anything cozier than coming in from the cold, sitting by a nice warm fire, and sipping hot cocoa with my Mush Boots on my feet!
Description:
Such a fun project to make! This pattern was designed for the adventurous beginner or intermediate level knitter. It is all knit in garter stitch, and the pattern provides lots of details, and does not assume that you’re an expert knitter. It has many high definition photos to guide you through the knitting process. These boots are then felted to size (Women’s U.S. size 6-9).
The felting process makes these boots extra cozy and warm, and to keep things simple, they are knit in garter stitch from the bottom up. The pattern includes detailed instructions and photos throughout, including detailed felting instructions. This pattern is designed for the intermediate knitter, or the adventurous beginner. Techniques used in this pattern include knitting in the round, picking up stitches, short-rows, cable cast-on and buttonholes.
You can find video tutorials on my website for the following more complicated techniques by clicking on the “Knitting Help” Tab on my BLOG.
