An adorable amigurumi mushroom!

Information:

• Gauge – 22 sc x 20 rows in 10cm x 10cm
• Size – finished mushroom is approx. 10cm tall
• The pattern uses US crochet terminology and provides pictures to complement the a written pattern

Note on gauge: gauge is not that important for this pattern – you can use thicker or thinner yarn to make a larger or smaller mushroom. Be sure to use a hook a few sizes smaller than recommended for the yarn, to ensure that no stuffing shows when the mushroom is put together.

Required skills

• Crochet skills – chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, single crochet increases and decreases, crocheting in the front and back loop of stitches
• Sewing skills – basic sewing skills to sew mushroom pieces together, and embroider spots onto top of mushroom

Materials

• 2.75mm crochet hook
• 8ply cotton (DK weight) yarn in 2 colours
• Stuffing
• Needle to sew spots and weave in ends
• Optional – small weight to help mushroom stand
