This is my first beret design, but i think it came out really well. it’s easy to knit with simple shaping, but i think it came out really well. Basically, it winds up as a big pouffy mushroom shape, a little Renaissance-y and a little bit like a chef hat. It also comes out very big, so some basic blocking or felting will probably be necessary depending on your size, so it should definitely be made with wool yarn.
