You have got to love little mushrooms with their cute little tops! With fall coming I wanted a quick project to warm me up for those early morning walks. After playing around with some stitches I realized the crocodile stitch would be perfect to help mimic a mushroom top, with a little altering to tack it down to the main body. The slip stitch stripes are optional, but I think it adds just a little extra touch. I used one ball of Lion brand Heartland for the body, and very small scrap amounts of off-white and Loops and Thread Facets for the awesome gradient effect. There are lots of pictures at the end of the pattern to help work through some of the rounds.
