SIZE of the finished toy: approximately 10 cm (3.9 inches) in case you use the same materials I used

MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES:

  1. Yarn - Sport weight yarn (Fine yarn) for cotton+acrylic yarn or Fingering (Super fine yarn) for 100% cotton yarn Colors: rusty brown - for the pot (approx. 10g), brown - for the soil (approx. 3g), white - for the eyeball (approx. 2g), green - for the grass (approx. 2g), cap color (approx. 2g), stem color (approx. 3g), spots color (a few meters), if you are going to crochet the iris (iris color, black - a few meters)

  2. Crochet hook suitable for your yarn (I used 1.75 mm Tulip Sucre, it corresponds to 1.5 mm regular crochet hook)

  3. Depending on what kind of eye you decide to use: 10 mm safety eye/ 10 mm glass cabochon/ if you are going to use crochet iris+half bead - 4 mm black half bead. If you use a different yarn or hook size, you will need to choose the size of the eye yourself

  4. Embroidery or sewing thread of white color (a few meters)

  5. Scissors, tapestry needle

  6. Stitch marker (I used a piece of yarn)

  7. Fiberfill (stuffing)

  8. Stuffing tool (I used wooden skewers and tweezers)

  9. A piece of plastic, to make the bottom steady (I use a lid of a plastic container). If you use heavier yarn, a piece of plastic might not be enough, you might need to add additional weight in the pot (stones/metal or glass beads)

  10. All-purpose glue (I use UHU)

  11. If you are using heavier yarn than indicated in the pattern, you might need to use a stabilizer in the stem. You can use a piece of wire, wooden dowels or cotton swabs.

This pattern is for personal use only, you may not sell it or distribute it in any way. You are welcome to sell the finished toy.
