This little mushroom works up very quickly and is a great project for beginners. It’s not a difficult pattern but does involve some sewing.

You need to know how to do a single crochet, increase, decrease, and sew a whipstitch. Do not slip stitch and chain 1 at the end of the round. You can totally do it!

When working with an H hook and worsted weight yarn your mushroom will turn out to be approximately 3in tall. A bulky yarn with corresponding hook size could get your mushroom to about 7in tall.
