Pattern for an Mushroom Tapestry / Throw. This pattern comes with both a graph and written directions.

All single stitch crochet using the tapestry crochet technique (carrying yarn)

You will need 6 skeins of White (A), 1 skein of Dark Brown (B), 3 skeins of Light Brown (C), 3 skeins of Tan (D) & 1 skein of Red (E) to complete this pattern. This is assuming a medium weight yarn with a skein length of about 350 yards/skein.

I recommend carrying White (A), Light brown (C) & Tan (D) through the entire pattern to keep it even. I would only carry the Dark Brown (B) in the two places where it appears and only carry the Red (E) through the cap of the last mushroom.

I recommend a medium weight (worsted weight) yarn with a J sized hook. The tapestry should come out a little over 4 feet wide (when crocheted with a J hook and medium weight yarn) This pattern can be repeated and sewn together or combined with other patterns (most of my other patterns are also 150 stitches wide) to create a blanket. A border can also increase the size and give the project a more finished look.

It is all single stitch crochet. In order to make this blanket you will need to know how to carry yarn (there are great Youtube videos that can teach you how to do the Tapestry Crochet Technique. I highly recommend trying a small simple pattern to practice carrying yarn before attempting a larger project. Carrying yarn gets more difficult as you add more colors.

150 stiches wide by 113 rows tall
