Music Coat
I created this winter coat because I wanted something different from the norm. Using super bulky yarn makes for a very heavy and definitely warm coat. There is also a matching cowl - see Music Cowl pattern.
Skill level is advanced intermediate/experienced. Pattern comes with written instructions, photo illustrations, a schematic (smaller size only); and separate .pdf formatted coded and color charts for the musical instruments on back of coat.
Coat is crocheted in one piece throughout except for the sleeves, neck/coat band/hem. Techniques used include: intarsia and stranding type methods of adding color; crocheted-in sleeves; buttonholes, armhole/shoulder/neck/A-line shaping; and adding an inside liner.
You’ll need:
- Yarn colors - Portland Wine/Pittsburgh Yellow/Green Bay/Minneapolis Purple

It is very important that a gauge swatch is completed prior to starting this pattern.
