All elements of the owl are worked in single stitches and continuous rounds; do not join unless otherwise stated in the pattern.
It’s a good idea to add in a marker at the end of each round and move that marker as you move on. You can also use a short thread of yarn as I did.

I used a 100% Cotton Aran yarn with a 3.5 instead of a 5mm hook, so you won’t get any gaps or stuffing showing through the stitches.

You will need the following materials:
Yarn for the owl body, wings and ears:
50g 100% Cotton Yarn in light grey and 50g in contrasting colour
(Aran / 10 ply (8 wpi)
some white and color yarn for the detail work (eyes, hanger, feathers and ball):
100% Cotton Yarn (Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi);
