Musings is the first design in my Midnight Musings collection. I love finding a stitch pattern and experimenting with it to get different looks. In this collection, I focus on using a slipped stitch to give the illusion of a cable (so no cable needle required).

This hat pattern is written for one size which fits heads between 50 and 58 cm circumference. There are however, instructions included for how you can adapt the pattern to give a larger or smaller hat.

Yarn: DK, approx 150m. Sample shown knitted in WYS Bo Peep DK (Colourway: Carousel)
Needles & Notions: 3.5mm & 4mm circular needles or dpns (or size needed to obtain gauge), darning needle, optional stitch marker to show beginning of round
Gauge: 38 sts & 36 rows = 10cm/4in in 2 x 2 rib with smaller needles.
