The Musky weekender bag is named after the muskellunge fish. It is quite a large fish, and so is this bag! It is my largest felted bag to date and most drooled over. You can easily pack everything you’d need for a weekend getaway in this luggage. There are no complicated stitches (mostly half-double crochet). I broke it up to 5 main pieces that are assembled before washing. As with all my felted patterns, they are designed to be easy to make and allow the laundry machine do all the hard work! If you’ve never felted before, you will probably get hooked! It’s amazing to see your pieces transform in the washing machine as they shrink and the fibers intertwine. Plus, the intertwining of the wool prevents anything from going through your stitches. Enjoy!
