Mustard Seed Shawl
As 1st published in “Knit Now” UK magazine issue 48.
Shakespeare’s fairies are rooted in English folklore. Popular elements of the fairy world for an
audience in Shakespeare’s time, were the fairy songs and dances , or “fairy rings”
This lacework shawl has been designed to depict Shakespeare’s fairies dancing in their fairy rings.
Full of romance and intrigue, this shawl gently flows off the shoulders.
The sample was knit using Stylecraft Senses Lace which apparently is now discontinued.
