Bulky (7 wpi; 12 ply; no 5: Bulky) or Aran (8 wpi; 10 ply; no 4: Medium) yarn about 100g or 185 yards(white) and 50g or 92 yards (black)
Knitting needle size US 9 (5.5 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 16 sts x 20 rows (in stockinette stitch)
Ribbon and beads for decorating
Optional: 8” (20 cm) zip or snap fastener
