This pattern uses one mini-skein set to make a Mutant Mini Fade Hat and a matching set of fingerless mitts. Sample are done in the Mutant Mini Fade Set in 4 Plies of the Apocalypse base from Rebel Purl.

Construction is simple ane one piece in the round. Color changes are made with slipped stitches, so there are no floats to work around.
