Muusa is a ribbed beanie knitted in a wool blend. The large turned up cuff allows many different sized and shaped heads to fit into the hat. The vertical stripes are formed by mock cables. Tweed-yarn gives the beanie a fascinating structure. So pretty, so easy! Knit and enjoy!

Muusa on joustinneulepipo, jossa pystyraidat muodostuvat jakoavainvalepalmikoista. Joustava malli muotoutuu hyvin päähän kuin päähän. Tweed-lanka elävöittää neuleen pintaa. Pipo neulotaan alareunasta päälakea kohti.

Ohje sopii neulojalle, joka hallitsee seuraavat perustaidot:
-oikean ja nurjan silmukan neulominen
-kavennus 2 o yhteen, 2 n yhteen
-valepalmikon tekeminen: Silmukoita nostetaan neulomatta. Keskeltä reunimmaiseksi siirretty silmukka muodostaa lankalenkin. Kahdesta erisuuntiin kääntyvästä lankalenkistä muodostuu valepalmikko.

YARNS and NEEDLES
Drops Soft Tweed mix, 50 % Wool /25 % Alpaca /25 % Viscose, color 301, 50 g = 130 m/142 yds
You need 70 g (100 g) (= 2 balls) for the beanie.

You can also use Sandnes Garn Tweed Recycled, 80 % Extra fine wool, 20 % Cashmere, 50 g = 175 m/191 yds or Rowan Felted Tweed, 50 % Wool, 25 % Viscose, 25 % Alpaca, 50 g = 175 m/191 yds.
You need 50 g (80 g) for the beanie

Circular needles 3 and 4 mm/40 cm (US 2,5 and 6/16”) and double pointed needles 4,0 mm (US 6)

STITCHES USED
k=knit
p=purl
k2tog=knit two stitches together
p2tog=purl two stitches together
sl1p=slip one purlwise
mock gull stitch=Slip 3 sts, drop next slipped st to front of work, slip the same 3 sts back onto left-hand needle, pick up dropped slipped st and knit it. Then knit 3 sts. Drop next slipped st to front of work, knit 3 sts, pick up dropped slip st and knit it.
