This is my AFTER EIGHT BLANKET AND SHAWL pattern.

I created this shawl with this Scheepjes whirl in mind, Minty Black Velvet. It reminds me so much of the After eight mints that the name was almost a given. Although the recommended yarn is a scheepjes whirl any 4 ply yarn would work beautifully. It is a very simple pattern to master with simple repeats. I’ve written this pattern in U.K terms.

The Blanket version was very much inspired of the shawl. Made in yarn from crochet UK

I would recommend blocking this design, to open up the pattern. Once blocked my shawl measured approx. 70 inches (178cm) with a drop of 32 inches (80 cm)
