This pattern makes a roly-poly round elephant with floppy ears and a big smile! It’s a BIG amount of fun!

This pattern is written in English and uses US Standard crochet terms. It is an Intermediate level pattern and is an amigurumi, which is worked in the round. Pattern purchase grants you permission to sell the items you make with the pattern.

You will need the following:

Large Hook G (4mm) or smaller;
Small Hook D (3.25mm) or smaller;
Gauge is not essential to the project but you may have to adjust hook sizes if you crochet loosely, or if you use a different type of yarn, so that your fabric does not have holes

Approx. 50-100yds Red Heart Super Saver (or similar medium worsted weight yarn) of Elephant color, and small amounts of the other colors:.

Blue (or elephant color of choice);
Black (for mouth and hair);
Red or Pink (for tongue);
Yellow or White (for tusks);
Dark Blue (for brow wrinkles);
2 – 6mm Safety eyes (or stitch the eyes);
Sewing needle;
Scissors;
Polyfill Stuffing;
9 Stitch Markers (or use yarn).
