MY CASUAL JUMPER
ABOUT THE DESIGN:
MY CASUAL JUMPER is an oversized jumper with a clean and simple look in double garter stitch ridges all the way to the edges. The jumper has a high ribbed collar, long shoulder lines, narrow sleeves, and a soft drape around the body, ending with a curved hem and a slit on each side.
The jumper is worked from the top down. The collar is worked first, then increases and short rows form the neckline and shoulders. The back and front are worked separately to the bottom of the armholes. The body is then worked in the round, using short rows to avoid purling and to create the rounded hem. The sleeves are worked last.
