My cosy cable scarf
I love it : so soft and warm, so discreetly chic!
But I must admit that Hubby loves to borrow it from me from time to time … and I enjoyed knitting it too, because it is so quick to make, with Aran weight yarn and big needles.
I used Ice Yarns Feriye Ince to knit it, and I am so sorry it is discontinued by now, but any Aran or even Bulky weight yarn with good stitch definition of your choice will do just as well.
This beautiful unisex scarf measures approx. 7” x 56”/18 cm x 144 cm non stretched nor blocked.
The length is easily adjustable : tips are provided to make it longer.
Skills : knit, purl, cables.
Instructions are written, and a chart is provided to help you with the textured pattern.
Many thanks to my wonderful testers mugginsquilts gladeslibrarian hikesandbikes LadyDaVinciKnits and icanhasmohair: do not hesitate to take a look, their versions are awesome, and you can get some ideas for yarn substitution on their project page.
