Every knitter has their cryptonite — like an addictive stitch or irresistible yarn that becomes an obsession.

This generously sized triangle shawl combines some of my favorite infatuations: thin stripes, funky lace, and crazily contrasting blocks of color.

The sideways construction creates an asymmetrical “spine” throughout the shawl, and the combination of textures and colors will make your knees weak!

Of course, the only way to save yourself is to cast on immediately!

Yardage

  • 1 skein in „Graphite“ (color A), 87 g / 381 yds [348 m] used for sample
  • 1 skein in „Jersey“ (color B), 68 g / 298 yds [272 m] used for sample
  • 1 skein in „Electric Dreams“ (color C), 82 g / 359 yds [328 m] used for sample

Note: To ensure you have enough yarn to finish the shawl, make a gauge swatch! If you do run short, that’ll probably be with color A - in that case, you can simply knit the last few stripes in another color.
