The my Cup of Tea Shawl came about to celebrate the Hill Country Yarn Crawl 2016. The shop is a knitting and tea shop. If you enjoy a cup of tea you need to come by and have Shawnee brew you a cup of tea.

This Shawl is worked top down with very basic easy stitches put together in an elegant manner. It is actually very easy to crochet. If you are in the Georgetown, TX area I offer crochet a longs all the time for patterns. New group will begin in January 2017.

Stitches used in the pattern are: Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Treble Crochet. You will do a decrease SC.

Blocking will make the pattern come to life. You will use T pins to pull out the picots on the bottom of the shawl. If blocking is something you don’t enjoy doing. Our shop offers blocking services. I LOVE to Block for people. You can call the shop to arrange for that service. 512-869-2182
