Hello and welcome to my pattern…. “My Daisy Dots Poncho”. It is a ‘cropped’ poncho; with sleeve holes for ease of wear.
It’s construction is mostly created with the “Granny Stitch” pattern. Perfect for all Seasons of the year.
It’s a simple two piece construction, with each piece worked from the top down. Four seams sewn. Ribbing added to the neck and sleeves, with ‘Daisy Dots Picot’ pattern on the bottom edge.
It’s a beginner friendly pattern. With Step by Step - ‘easy to understand’ instructions. Its an “Over sized” fit, to freely sit over your outfits. I’ve added 2 versions > ranging from sizes XS ( S, M, L, XL, 2XL ) 3XL to 4XL – Follow the instructions for Blue #2/4ply/sport weight – hook sizes G 6/4:00mm & E 4/3:50mm or Black #3/8 ply/Light worsted weight – hook sizes 7/4:50mm & G 6/4.00mm depending on the weight of yarn & hook size you use. It’s also been created to adapt the pattern to add extra to make larger take away to make smaller than XS – by using multiples or subtracting of ‘4’ chain stitches at the beginning Chain row. You can easily adapt to work with a #4/10ply/worsted weight also…
