My Diamonds is a really fun hat to make and wear. The hat is completely seamless being knit in the round from the bottom up. The sequence of stitches and rows create a beautiful diamond pattern.

There are three options with this pattern:

• Make a snug Beanie Hat using a DK weight yarn
• Make a roomier Beanie Hat using an Aran\Worsted weight yarn
• For a slouchier look, add an additional 18 rounds to the lace pattern

Materials

• 2 skeins of Lima Drops (100 % Merino) 50g/109 yards (100 meters) or other DK or worsted weight yarn that knits up to gauge
• US 5 3,75 mm 16”40 cm circular needles or set of DPNs
• US 6 4 mm 16”40 cm circular needles or set of DPNs

To comfortably fit average adult head sizes 21”-23” (52,5 cm – 57,5 cm)

Gauge
18 stitches and 23 rows = 4” (10 cm) in diamonds pattern using larger needles
