My Favorite Knitted Hot Pad Pattern
These hot pads are great….they have a fun, retro look to them and most important they keep you from getting burned because of their double thickness. They also have a unique twist when you put it together, leaving you wondering how you’ll ever get the stitches to twist like that but don’t worry…..the pattern has pictures to take the confusion out of it. These hot pads last and last, they are very durable. They are also great to use up even the tiniest scraps you have left over from making dish cloths. This is just one of those good basic patterns to have on hand.
Size 7 (4.5 mm), 16” circular needles
3 double point needles, size 7 (4.5mm)
Sugar and cream 100% cotton - One plain skein will make 2 hot pads.
(I use all the left overs from making “My Favorite Knitted Dish Cloth Pattern”….and they turn out great.)
