My Favorite Sun Hat pattern is free on the linked blog. It is written for Toddler, Child, and Adult sizes.

This pattern uses worsted weight (#4) yarn (preferably cotton but of course, you can use fiber you want) and approximately 250 - 400 yards.

You may want to use a smaller hook size for the brim to make it tighter and stiffer especially if you don’t use the brim wire.

Feel free to add flowers or bow on your hat as an accessory.
