My First Hat!
This classically shaped hat is perfect for the beginning knitter! It starts with a length of 2x2 rib, which can easily be adjusted to change the look and fit of the hat. The body is a simple stockinette stitch, and it ends with easy to do decreases to close up the top. You’ll be warm and cozy in no time!

In these photos, I used colorways Fucsia (093) in the 21.25” size and Aguas (855) in the 23” size. Pattern suggests 16” circular and double pointed needles, but you can substitute your preferred method for small circumference knitting.
