My First Sweater
Super easy beginner sweater! It’s so easy it is virtually a “no fail” project. Using the Superkid with the Tree Wool give a really soft fabric with just a bit of a halo and a great drape.
It is a VERY oversized comfy fit. I’m a 44” bust wearing the 50” size and it’s as comfy as your favourite sweatshirt.
Yarn requirements:
Fleece Artist Tree Wool 360m/113g 3(3,3,4,4) skeins
Hand Maiden Superkid Silk 1000m/125g 1(1,1,2,2) skeins
Both yarns are held together throughout.
Gauge: 18sts/4” using 5mm over stocking st
So, if you’re a beginner or just want a comfy simple pattern for some TV knitting this would fit the bill.
