Pattern uses ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr, and other special stitches explained in the pattern. Pattern uses basic embroidery and sewing techniques.

Skill level: Intermediate.

Requires:
-Yarn needle
-24”/61 cm – ¼“/.5 cm elastic
-Hook-and-loop fasteners (ex. Velcro)
-Sampling of beads, sequins, buttons, etc. – up to 1”/2.5 cm sample uses up to 3/4”/2 cm pieces
-7 – 3/8”/1 cm snaps
-1 – 10”/24.5 cm zipper
-1 – 1”/2.5 cm button
-Thread and needle
-Stitch markers

Worsted weight yarn:
-Border color Used for page borders, spine, and back cover. Sample uses dark blue.: 2½ oz./71 g (130 yds./119 m)
-Background colors: 1½ oz./42.5 g (78 yds./71 m) each of light blue, dark blue, white, grey, light green, purple, yellow, and green.
-Other colors: Small amounts of 9 different textures of yarn these can be different weights, if desired. ¼ oz./7 g (13 yds./12 m) each of green, pink, purple, and orange. Small amounts of black, gold, yellow, brown, green, dark brown, orange, white, and scrap yarn.

Finished size is 9 3/4” X 10 1/4” X 4 1/4” (24.75 X 26 X 10.75 cm).
