Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This listing is for the PDF pattern of the pictured Gnome Elf Doll “Beagan”, his Pants, and Hat, a Laurel Lane design. This adorable, huggable Doll stands 13” and sits 8” . Using Bulky Yarn, makes the creation go really fast. There is no “attaching” the arms and legs and head, they are knitted onto the body. He was a lot of fun to create, the additional possibilities are endless. His name Beagan is Irish for “small one”.
This kind of hand made doll is called amigurumi. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crochet or knit dolls. A combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.
