The pattern includes the doll body, removable shoes, clothes and hat. It also has step by step instructions on how to work with faux doll hair.

Required stitches include Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), Increase and Decrease for both sc and dc, Back Loop Only (blo), Front Loop Only (flo) and Reverse Single Crochet aka crab stitch.

Most body parts are started using a magic ring and worked in joined rounds unless otherwise indicated.

If you are not familiar with the magic ring, you may wish to start with ch 2 and crochet the indicated number of sc into the 2nd ch from the hook

We insert pipe cleaners or soft wire into the limbs, body and head of the doll before stuffing with poly-fil.

We use safety eyes for the doll but you may choose to use beads, or cut felt pieces in the shape of eyes.

Gauge is not critical as long as consistent tension is applied.

We consider this pattern as an advance-intermediate one where you are required to work with faux hair on a crochet doll. Also, you should be already familiar with the different crochet stitches and able to join parts together.
