Not exactly the classic Cowichan, this sweater is a feminine twist on the style favored by, among others, the Log Lady. Simple shaping, colorwork, cables and textured stitches add adventure to this classic raglan top-down shape, a short-row collar adds additional snuggliness to the fit. The owl on the back is only there to scare off interlopers, I promise.

Worked top-down flat, with the sleeves worked in the round. Sts are picked up for the shawl collar at the end.
