One of my favourite things about this pattern is how customizable she is! You can make her soooo many different colours and use ANY yarn for her hair! Short hair, long hair, dark skin, light skin, bikini or a one-piece look, the options and combinations are practically endless!

And, she’s on the small side – about 9 inches tall – so she doesn’t take long to make!

Included in the Premium PDF Pattern is the instructions for both the Mermaid AND the Mer-Unicorn! And, of course, it includes a photo tutorial to help you throughout the pattern!

• Caron Simply Soft for the skin (I used the colourway “Bone”)
• Caron Simply Soft for the Fin/Body
• Any yarn you’d like for the hair!
• A small amount of yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft Party) for bow-bikini top
• 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook
• 12mm safety eyes (alternatively, you could embroider the eyes)
• Stuffing
• Optional: Stuffing Stick (a chopstick could work); this helps when stuffing the neck
• Darning needle
• Stitch markers (Bobby pins work great )
• Embroidery thread for lashes (optional)
• Small embroidery needle for creating your lashes
• Blush for the cheeks (optional)
