Use My Mocha Neck under your coat or knit it longer in front and use it as a slipover. It’s a simple, yet detailed Neck. It’s knit in an easy purl and knit checker pattern with a 2 x 2 ribbing and i-cords that tie in the waist.

Introduction to the pattern
My Mocha Neck is worked from the top down. First the back is worked, then the shoulders and the front. Stitches are then picked up around the neckline opening to work the mock turtle neck. Lastly the i-cords are knit and sewn on.

The pattern uses the following techniques: German Short Rows, i-cord, double knit (where stitches are switched, in the ribbing) and Italian bind off.
You can find video guides on how to knit an i-cord and double knit (where stitches are switched) on my Instagram: @Essential.Knitwear

Measurements
The Neck comes in two sizes, 1 (2).
Length (measured mid back excl. collar): 38 (42) cm 15 (16.5) inches
Shoulder width: 36 (40) cm 14 (15.5) inches

Size guide
Measure yourself over the shoulders to decide how wide you would like the Neck to be. If you knit size 1 and would like/need more length in the front (e.g. because of bust size), I would recommend buying 1 skein more of each quality. There is enough yarn for another checker-segment in size 2, if you meet gauge.
