My Mountain Swerve
This is my entry for the My Mountain Contest. It is a variation on my SWERVE hat but different enough to warrant its own pattern. Made in a bulky weight yarn, it was a very quick knit. There is 200g of yarn in each ball and I used only 150g total for the hat so that means you should be able to make at least 3 hats, if not 4, making this a very economical hat!
The third picture shows what happens if you Kitchener Stitch from the wrong side of the hat so, take note if this type of thing bothers you. I left the photo here for instructional purposes but after the picture was uploaded, I ripped out the seam and fixed it.
The bottom picture shows how the second wedge is built up from the first wedge.
