These shorties are toe-up in construction with a short row heel and 1x1 rib. I’ve also included some variations pictured in the pattern to give some inspiration, like striping instructions, moss stitch, and even an I-cord bind off. Enjoy these quick and easy socks!

Gauge: 29 stitches in 48 rounds over 4” of stockinette stitch

Finished foot circumference: 7 ½” (8 ¼”) 9”
fits sizes 8 ½”-9 ½” (9 ¼”-10 ¼” ) 10”-11” with -1” to -2” of ease

Note: To find the correct size for your foot, measure your foot’s circumference at the widest point. The sock will stretch to accommodate foot sizes 1-2” bigger in circumference than the listed finished foot circumference.

Needles: US size 1 circulars with long enough cable to do magic loop method. I use a 30 inch cable.

Yarn: I used a couple different sock yarns while testing this pattern. Pick any of your favorite sock yarns that have a bit of nylon content. Striped version shown is knitted in Neko Norb Craft Co Self Striping Yarn in the color Eeveelution and Emma’s Yarn Perfect Smalls in Navy Blue. The Moss Stitch version is knitted in Created 4 U by Laura Sassy Stash Fingering in Pink Coral and Chartreuse.
