My Scrappy Gloves
The gloves are crocheted in continuous rounds.
In the pattern are notes to make the gloves with fingering weight yarn on hook size 3 mm but also to make them with DK weight yarn on hook size 4 mm
This pattern is a step by step guide to help you make your own pair of scrappy gloves. The gloves can be made in a solid color too if you like. The 4 fingers and thumb are crocheted separately after which they are crocheted to each other. The pattern does not give exact stitch counts except for the first 3 rounds. I don’t have a clue concerning hand sizes, so after round 3 it’s up to your own hand size if you need to increase some more. Regular fitting is all you need to do to get the circumference for each finger right. There are enough photos to help you through.
I crocheted my gloves with frogged yarn ends and that is where the name for the gloves comes from.
