This cardigan is called “My Size Cardigan” because you can do just that - make it your own size.

As with several of my garments this pattern is designed to be fully customisable to the size that you want. I have given stitch counts and measurements for a 130cm chest size in 3 colours. You can make yours wider, longer, narrower, shorter, multi-coloured, single coloured… the list is endless.. make it to suit you by following a few simple instructions.

The instructions make it simple to use any yarn by doing a few basic calculations and it can be made any size from child up to the largest adult. All is fully explained in the instructions.

For the 3 colour sample shown I used:

Stylecraft Special DK with a tension/gauge of 20dc to 10cm
Denim 250g, Cloud Blue 300g, Cream 200g
Single colour would use approx 700g
These quantities will make a 130cm finished chest size with a full length of 92cm and sleeve length of 40cm.

My testers used:
105g of double knit for 56cm chest x 80cm long
650g of aran for 96cm chest x 60cm long
500g of double knit for 110cm chest x 60cm long
