MY Stash Cat
by Mitzy Moore
MY Stash Cat was inspired by Cat Cushion by Sue Speechley, (which is knitted flat then put together). I like to work in the round and decided to eliminate as many seams as I could. He is the perfect way to use up those bits and pieces of chunky or worsted yarn taking up space in your stash.
If you would like to use worsted weight yarn, you will want to change to US4 needles or smaller. You need to be sure that the stuffing cannot be seen through the stitches.
MY Stash Cat is worked from the top down, beginning with the ears, which are begun separately. When the body is completed, the seam is closed and the body is stuffed from the top, then the top seam (between the ears) is closed.
