Gauge is not important and the pattern can be adapted to a wide range of yarn weights.

I used Holst Garn Tides held double. For the same needle size and stitch number, any sport weight yarn will work.

The optional stitch pattern is modified from “250 Japanese Stitches” by Hitomi Shida

The little scarf idea is inspired by the Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit and the Heatwave Scarf by Pia Trans - both not completely fitting my needs. I bought and made the Heatwave Scarf twice so far !
