Like many others, I find peace when knitting. My Wish For You is a simple doily, with the word Peace repeated three times around a “fancy” center. Knit using crochet cotton and fine needles it is perfect for mounting on a store-bought metal ring or embroidery hoop, and embellished with small fairy lights. It also can serve as a doily, or knit with a heavier yarn makes a great art piece to mount on a hula hoop and decorate a fence.
Sizes: 12-inch circumference, adjustable depending on yarn weight and needle sizes chosen.
Yarn: Knit Picks Curio #10 thread, 100% cotton, 721 yds/100 grams, shown in Whisker
Needles: US 00 (1.75 mm) dpns and/or circular needles for preferred method of knitting small circumferences in the round
1.75mm crochet hook
Notions: Large eyed tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 6 stitch markers (one unique for beginning of round), 12 inch embroidery or 14-18 inch metal hoop for mounting, 14 inch square of dark fabric, and 3.3 meter 20 bulb fairy lights (optional)

At the beginning rather than using a stitch marker to denote the beginning of the round, we suggest just using y our yarn tail.
Do not tighten the center until ready to mount.
