Baby/child surplice-style sweater. Body is knit in one piece; sleeves are knit separately. Yardage needed will depend on how many colors you choose to use. Rated “easy” in book; perhaps “intermediate” is closer because you will need to do increases and decreases, and also pick up stitches along the front band of the body.

Five sizes, from 16-inch chest (0-6 months) to 23-inch chest (3-4 years). Additional materials needed: 2 buttons.
