This fun, festive sweater is worked using stranded colourwork seamlessly from the top down in the round, so it’s an excellent project for experienced as well as beginner knitters. It is sure to be a hit with anyone who loves dinosaurs!

Designed to be worn with 5-17.5 cm / 2-7” positive ease around the bust.

Yarns used in the light sample with red dinos (size 3) is 3 skeins of The Yarn Collective Bloomsburry DK (100% superwash merino; 240 m 263 yds / 100 g) in colourway #110 Sand as main colour, 1 skein of Wool Decanted Vintage 20 DK (100% Shetland and BFL wool; 112 m 122 yds / 50 g) in colourway Shepherd’s delight and 25 g of hand-spun Wild Atlantic Yarns 100 % Merino top (DK weight, approx. 220 m / 100 g) in Woodland forager colourway as contrast colours. The blue eyes are embroidered using double stitch and 2 strands of leftover sock yarn.

Gauge: 22 sts & 30 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette stitch and colourwork in the round, blocked.

Suggested needles:

• 3.75 mm (US 5) circulars 60-100 cm / 24-40” long
• 3.25 mm (US 3) circulars 60-100 cm / 24-40” long and/or double-pointed needles for small circumference knitting

Notions: Crochet hook, smooth waste yarn (e.g. cotton), stitch markers, locking stitch markers, row counter, stitch holder, tapestry needle.
