Yarn Choice:
This sweater is knit in washable fingering weight yarn or sock yarn.
I have shown it in both a hand-dyed colorway and a commercial colorway. It would also be a VERY good and fun stash buster. Due to the non-traditional construction of the piece, using multiple yarns and colors would make quite an amazing and unique sweater. I think using washable yarn is important to help make it more practical for the family of a new youngster.
